Picasso in Piccadilly | Royal Academy
Our biggest art film ever. Just before London locked down, we produced a huge installation that took over the Piccadilly Circus screen for one unforgettable evening.
Big Screen Art
For half an hour, Piccadilly Circus was transformed into a celebration of the work of the great artist, Pablo Picasso. We produced a three-minute film especially for its iconic screen – the largest advertising display in Europe. The installation coincided with the Royal Academy’s block-buster exhibition ‘Picasso and Paper’.
We made a visual montage that was designed to be seen from all angles in the iconic London street. It contained images from the exhibtion, quotes from the artist and clips from the documentary by the great director Henri-Georges Clouzot: ‘Le Mystère Picasso’
Large-scale video installations for museums and galleries
At Chocolate Films we love producing huge scale video installations. We have large-scale video pieces at the Museum of London, Docklands, The Science Museum and Biggin Hill Museum amongst others. If you’d like to talk through an idea for a video installation, just get in touch.
