STATEMENT OF SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES
AUGUST 2022
At Chocolate Films, we champion openness, sustainability and diversity in our working environment and are constantly evaluating our performance. This statement outlines our key pillars of our social and environmental responsibilities.
Our customers
We aim to build and enjoy long term relationships with all our customers regardless of their size and purchasing ability. We celebrate clients who are making a positive impact on society with financial incentives in the form of discounts.
Our staff
We endeavour to build a strong full-time team with a positive and safe working environment, job security and creative opportunities.
Our suppliers
We have built strong relationships with our suppliers and choose suppliers that share our ethos in relation to employment practices, quality, and environmental controls.
Our environment
We work to find innovative ways of creating great video content with the lowest possible impact on the environment, constantly aiming to be carbon neutral.
Our community
We engage with our community through our workshop, training and business support projects, targeting people who may not otherwise have the opportunity.
In the three years from 1 September 2022 to 31 August 2025 (a period that coincides with the opening and early years of the company’s new London base in Nine Elms, Battersea) we have a four point social and environmental action. They key goals are as follows:
GOAL ONE: Reduce the environmental impact of travel
GOAL TWO: Further develop community engagement
GOAL THREE: Optimise workspaces for staff wellbeing and the environment
GOAL FOUR: Strengthen our international network
We are committed to ensuring that the behaviour and activities of Chocolate Films will match the statements set out in this document.
