Who Do We Produce Documentaries For?
Short Form Documentaries And Case Studies
Long-form Documentary And Long-term Production
Our long-form documentaries have told the stories of football teams, lorry drivers, hair salons, new teachers and youth workers dealing with street violence. For each of these projects we have spent many months, and often years, capturing their lives and stories. We are currently half-way through a ten year documentary about a major construction project. Our company structure, with a full-time crew of dedicated filmmakers, is ideal for long-term documentary projects where we drop in and out of a story. Long-form documentaries produced by Chocolate Films have been screened at festivals and been released in cinemas.
A Flexible Team With International Reach
Chocolate Films produces great looking documentary content in every continent – filming doctors in Japan, David Hockney by his pool in Los Angeles and a karate school in Syria. Our commitment to being net zero video production company means that we balance the need for content production. We produce and direct documentary content with our international partners, with satellite offices within the EU and US and a network of partner production companies across the world. Working this way reduces our carbon footprint and our client’s costs while maintaining quality.
Chocolate Films Is A Carbon Neutral Production Company
At Chocolate Films we work hard to be a sustainable supplier. Over recent years we have reduced our carbon footprint by bringing in policies about travel, waste and power. And we offset the carbon that we’re not currently able to reduce, by contributing to planting trees in a sustainable forestry scheme. We also offer discounts on video production to organisations that are actively promoting sustainability.
