Our Mission: Empowerment Through Film
Chocolate Films was founded on the belief that creative industries should be accessible to all. Yet, many young people from disadvantaged backgrounds face significant barriers, such as limited access to training, equipment, and professional networks.
Our workshops aim to bridge that gap.
- Skill Building: Participants learn camera operation, editing, and storytelling techniques.
- Confidence Boosting: Beyond technical skills, we help young people find their voice and express their ideas.
- Enjoyment: Our hope is that young people have an amazing time at our workshops and really enjoy themselves. An added bonus is when we can spark a passion for video production in any young person.
Over the years, we’ve helped thousands of young people create their own short films, many of whom have gone on to work in the media industry.
